Admit It, You Love To Hate Blogging

We all love blogging at times and we all hate blogging at times. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. Blogging is tough. Those of you who have been at it for a while should give yourself a pat on the back, seriously. It isn’t just another hobby, it’s much more than that. Something you’ve most likely put your heart and soul into. Blogging is you, and that is why your proud to call yourself a blogger. So my question to all of the bloggers out there, why do you keep at it? What drives you?

I can most certainly answer the question for myself, but since we are all different I want to know. Perhaps I should start?

I blog because it’s a way for me to let go. For me to put all of the stress and worries of the day behind me, even for just a little while. To share a little piece of myself with complete strangers who I hope will be able to gain at least one of 3 key things from me.

1. Value

I hope that my blog brings you some kind of value. Hopefully you learn something you didn’t know, or justification on something you already knew but weren’t quite sure of.

2. Inspiration

I do hope that at some point I help inspire you. Inspire you to keep writing, to write better, to be more authentic or creative in your writing.

3. Empathy

I try to keep this blog full of as little bs as possible. I want you as a reader to know that I’m right there with you, every step of the way. Through the struggles and the success.

Blogging is something that I think we all had been waiting for. A tool that allowed us to share our voice. A tool that could help one voice become thousands and echo to reach the unknown. Something that would connect us to others just like us.

No matter how much you love blogging, you hate it just as much. But without the bad times, you wouldn’t appreciate the good quite as much.
