There you are, sitting at your laptop.
You’ve been staring at a blank screen for 15 minutes. And you’ve got nothing.
Been there? I have. There is always an overwhelming drive to produce. It happens, it’s part of blogging. So where can you find some awesome blog post ideas? From other bloggers of course. Think of it as digital brainstorming. (I may just copyright that, don’t steal it.) Here’s 6 hot spots to do just that.
Still one of my favorites. It’s Yahoo! Answers meets LinkedIn. Any topic you can think of, it’s probably there. If not, just ask. It’s a group of amazingly talented professionals sharing their wisdom, experience and advice. Free.
The mother of all blog directories. Anything you could ever dream of is on alltop. Find the newest content form bloggers and new sources alike. Oh yeah, add your blog too!
Just like it says, if you love blogs, its probably a good place to go. Follow blogs you like, discover new ones and get daily email alerts right to your inbox with all your blog fave’s in one place. Oh yeah, there’s an app for that too.
I really started digging into feedly today. (We’ll be posting a full review shortly) It seems pretty remarkable for what I thought was a simple feed reader. All of my content, neatly and beautifully at my fingertips. 2 tap posting to social networks or sharing via email. Seems pretty great so far. Try it for yourself.
Pretty standard inclusion on this list. Twitter is really a great resource for seeing what’s going on in your niche area of interest. From lists to trending content and hashtags, you’ll find what you’re looking for.
I can’t link this because its your own blog comments. When your readers take the time to comment, really take time to understand what they are trying to say. Whether the comment itself gives you clues as to what they want to read, or by taking a closer look at the post they commented on, they are giving you great insight! It’s up to you to pay attention.
There are so many more, but these 6 are my must-have’s. What are your go to spots?
